STEM Preparatory Academy is seeking a dynamic and dedicated High School Computer Science Teacher to deliver rigorous, engaging, and inclusive instruction that prepares students for college and beyond. What You'll Do:Deliver high-impact instruction aligned to the Common Core and Tennessee State Standards
Plan and facilitate inquiry-based lessons using cutting-edge computer science curriculum
Build strong, trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Implement best practices in differentiation for English Language Learners (ELL) and Exceptional Education (ExEd) students
Collaborate with a team of educators to drive student growth and achievement
Participate in ongoing professional development and leadership coaching
Promote a classroom culture centered on high expectations, mutual respect, and student ownership
Administer and support school and state-wide assessments
Bachelor's degree (minimum) in education or subject-specific field
Valid Tennessee Teaching License with Computer Science endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
Deep content knowledge and strong instructional skills in computer science
Commitment to STEM Prep’s mission of educational equity and anti-racism
Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
Reflective, coachable, and committed to continuous improvement
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
