Job Description

Summary: The Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of SimplyConvert LLC and making decisions based on the financial stability of the company. This position will report directly to the ownership group.

ESSENETIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Strategic Financial Leadership
  • Process development and improvement
  • Ad Hoc Analysis and Reporting

Qualification Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or similar field required. Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred. Certified designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting with exposure to both strategic and operational roles required.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, and public groups.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to apply concepts of basic math.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

Strong computer proficiencies are essential must possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite as well as project management programs.
