THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The   Manager for Enterprise API & Integrations   plays a pivotal role in our organization, leading a team dedicated to designing, defining standards, implementing, and managing seamless real time and near real time integrations and robust APIs across the enterprise. This role demands a deep understanding of IT architecture, data management, and modern real time integration and APIM technologies. The Manager will be responsible for aligning IT initiatives with business objectives, driving innovation through APIs, and ensuring the efficient flow of data across various platforms. With a focus on scalability, security, and performance, they will lead the team to develop, optimize, maintain, and support integration solutions that enhance operational efficient and deliver exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, technical expertise in API development and integration patterns, and a strategic mindset to drive digital transformation initiatives within the organization.

 

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH ALL THESE GOALS BY: 

• Executing Strategic Initiative:   Execute a comprehensive integration and API strategy aligned with the organization's goals, ensuring seamless communication between diverse systems.
• Team Leadership:   Manage a team of integration and API experts, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• API Development:   Lead the creation and maintenance of high-quality APIs, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and well-documented to facilitate seamless data exchange internally and externally.
• Develop & Manage Enterprise Dev Portal:   Lead a team to develop an enterprise development portal to onboard and manage enterprise APIs across different domain.
• Operation Support & System Reliability:   Lead and coordinate efforts during integration-related outages, focusing on minimizing and mitigating impacts to enterprise operations. Provide support during weekends and off-hours as required to ensure operational continuity.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:   Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to understand requirements, define integration standards, and ensure that integration projects meet business objectives.
• Performance Optimization:   Monitor and optimize integration and API performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, response times, and reliability.
• Security & Compliance:   Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (i.e. SOX) by implementing robust security protocols, encryption standards, and access controls within integrations and APIs.
• Continuous Improvement:   Drive a culture of continuous improvement, conducting regular performance assessments, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing best practices to elevate the overall integration landscape and achieve operational excellence.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or equivalent professional experience
• 8+ years in IT roles with a focus on enterprise integrations and API development
• 4+ years’ managerial experience leading a team to support both development and support

• Experience with real time integration tools like TIBCO and API management platforms like Apigee is required.
• Experience with implementation of API and Cloud strategy for integrations.
• In-depth knowledge of integration platforms, API management tools, and programming languages (e.g., Java, REST, SOAP).
• Familiarity with cloud-based integration services (such as Azure or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Strong decision-making skills and strategic thinking.
• Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners, to gather requirements, define integration standards, and drive successful outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex integration projects from conception to implementation, ensuring they align with business goals and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot integration issues, optimize performance, and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making processes.
• Deep understanding of data security, encryption methods, access controls (i.e. SOX), and compliance standards (such as GDPR) related to integration and API development.
• Ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and business requirements, guiding the team in adopting new tools, methodologies, and best practices to enhance integration capabilities.
• Flexibility of providing support during odd hours, weekends, and peak seasons
• Minimal travel required (training/conferences)

: The pay range for this position is $117,000.00 - $165,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
