Addison Group is hiring a Training Specialist I for our client in the healthcare industry. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in healthcare registration, insurance verification, and EPIC systems who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Job Description:

The Training Specialist I is responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance staff proficiency, improve operational efficiency, and ensure high-quality patient registration processes. This individual will work closely with management to identify training needs, implement educational materials, and track staff performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training materials, guides, and policies to support registration and insurance verification processes.
  • Conduct new hire training and ongoing education to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor staff performance, track productivity, and provide coaching based on quality audits.
  • Create newsletters and training updates to keep staff informed of system changes and common registration errors.
  • Collaborate with management to assess training needs and provide solutions for performance improvement.
  • Oversee standard operating procedures to ensure uniformity and efficiency in registration workflows.
  • Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and other technology tools to develop and present training materials.

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in healthcare registration with experience in insurance verification (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, etc.).
  • Proficiency in EPIC systems and ability to train others on its functionality.
  • Experience creating training guides, conducting audits, and improving registration workflows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to professionally interact with management and staff .
  • Tech-savvy individual with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including multiple shifts, to accommodate training schedules.

Additional Details:

  • Schedule: Flexible shifts (day and evening availability required; occasional weekends).
  • Reporting to: Director of Registration.
  • Interviews and Start Date: ASAP.
